RAVE: I LOVE my Sirius Radio


I promise those who read, I am positive person most of the time. This is evident by the lack new reading material for week to week. If I am happy, I find it hard to write, but today is different. I have both a rant and a rave. I love my Sirius Radio.

Now before you go off, let me make it clear I did not get Sirius radio for Howard Stern. While Howard Stern was a very good lure for my husband, I do not care to listen to Howard. And even though I am not a fan, I do respect the man. I totally agree with him, if you don’t like what he has to stay, DON’T LISTEN!!! It is so easy but people just seem to always have a reason why they can’t stop listening. Even besides his rants and raves, the man is funny. Perverted (which he doesn’t deny), but funny. There have been times where I have listened to his show, for my husband’s sake I assure you, and have laughed. He, along with the cast members of the show, are funny, and there is not denying that, but back to the point, I love my Sirius.

I love the fact I have no commercials and mostly music. While the DJ’s are kind of a nuisance, for the most part it is all music and I love it. I have listened to the Hits, the 50’s, the 80’s, the 90’s, alternative, country, big hair bands, and just about anything else you can think of. I have heard songs I haven’t in years, some songs I have never heard and songs that are coming out today. It’s great. The music is awesome.

I have the S-50 model, which I would definitely recommend. It records not only songs I like and choose, but it records a block of time from the channels I listen to most. This is awesome. I often listened to these blocks and use this feature when I am in the office and can not get a decent satellite signal (which is just about never). It hours and hours of music.

As my husband states “Terrestrial radio sucks, maybe this will teach them to put something worth listening too on the radio.” So for all those who still have “terrestrial radio” I feel for you, because I LOVE MY SIRUS.
